We believe the key to finding the right breeder is to first educate yourself.
The only accurate way to learn about German bred dogs, German breeding programs, German style Shows and Trials, is to spend time with people who are actually involved in the sport of Schutzhund and competing with their dogs. We welcome spectators to visit our schutzhund trials, conformation shows, our club, and training facility.

In 1980 became interrested in the Schutzhund sport, and titled her third dog; Rottweiler, Dimitri von Krughaus aka Luigi. [Am/Can CDX, AKC UD, WH, SchH1/IPO1] then in 1983 she purchased her first German Shepherd, Ilko v Waldeckerhof, trained/titled HOT SchH2. Her second Shepherd; SG-Fello von Schneiringsgarten made 33x SchH3, FH KK Michele is a very successful obedience instructor and retrieving trainer. She specializes in all breed training and handling, and manages Lindesfarne Boarding/Training facility. Michele is the USCA National Breed Warden. She advocates that a working dog title is essential in proving a dog’s breed worthiness. The origin of Schutzhund and the rules by which we 'compete' were developed to 'test' the dog’s temperament, courage and hardness, and not play, prey or ball drive. We should never lose sight of the fact that Schutzhund is a Breed Suitability Test. Conscientious breeders should train and test their bloodlines...not simply be in the 'puppy business'
